Jun. 21st, 2011 10:08 pmRereading A Game of Thrones so that I can move on in the book series, so I can watch more of the HBO show, and I just have to stop and say that George RR Martin just bought my soul for all eternity. It doesn't matter what happens later. It doesn't matter if my professor says he breaks the contract between fantasy writers and readers (I suspect I shan't care about that anyway).

animus_wyrmis , I think you will rather like this, seeing as you are the one who clarified it for me in the first place - Lysa as Penelope is not waiting for Jon Arryn to return (which, duh, he couldn't but still bear with me), but is protecting her son's interests, by holding off suitors. FUCK YES, WOMEN WHO RULE.
