Ooh ooh! Buffy x Merlin! I haven't written Buffy fic in years, but here's a contribution, if you won't mind.

Buffy frowned as she looked away from him and at the king instead. She raised her hand up and rubbed her eyes, blinking several times before turning to look at her Watcher. "Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing? Two Giles?"
"Stay back!" Uther cried as he held his sword out in front of him. "I will suffer neither witches nor sorcerers on these lands!"
"Oh, please," the blonde-haired girl waved her hand indifferently at him, "do I look like a witch to you? If we knew you wanted to see a real witch, we would have asked Willow to come instead."
Several paces away, Merlin tilted his head slightly toward Gaius. "Gaius, do you know who they are?" he whispered softly, his lips barely moving as he kept his eyes on the strangers.
The physician gave a small shake of his head. "I've no idea." He had seen many unusual things throughout his years at Uther's court, but this was the strangest encounter he has had to date. "I don't recognize any of them."
"Not them maybe," said a voice from behind him. "But what about me?"
The two men jumped and spun around. The surprise was evident on Merlin's face, but Gaius just stared and his eyes narrowed in recognition. "You."
She wore the same strange garments as the other strangers, different and even more immodest than some of Morgana's gowns. But her face hadn't changed; it looked exactly the same as the last time he saw her. Blonde-hair, dark eyes and a smile that always made him uneasy.
"Me," the woman said. "It's been a while since I've last seen you, Gaius. Twenty years for you, almost a thousand for me. To think we'd meet again in Camelot of all places." Her gaze slid to the boy that stood beside him. "Is this your latest apprentice?"
"Gaius, who is she?"
The woman heard Merlin's question, and she raised an eyebrow at him. "Do introduce us, Gaius. It's only proper."
The older man gritted his teeth. "Merlin, this is Anyanka. A sorceress."
