Newness

At the end of five days of packing, driving, moving in, and being welcomed, my overwhelmingly sole feeling is a sense of newness.  New friends, new city, new room, new sheets, new food, new books . . . So much acclimation to go through!  But I love it.  And even though I sometimes grumble about the corny welcome week activities we are being shepherded through, it's really been successful in helping me meet people.  Four gals to hang around the city with, one of whom appears to be becoming my church-buddy, an awesome roomie, and various other cool people have all come into my life over the course of these short two days.  I can't wait to see what happens next!
