YOU GUYS, what is going on with my life?  Everything keeps coming together in totally crazy but amazing concert.

Tonight's example: Yesterday I analyzed artwork focusing on Judith beheading Holofernes.  Then I wrote a fic putting Susan in Judith's place.  Then tonight I just finished reading The Beekeeper's Apprentice*, and Mary tells Holmes the story of Judith.  *blank face*  It's crazy.  And I LOVE IT.

*Speaking of this amazing book - the whole little section when they are travelling Palestine was my favorite.  Gorgeous, emotive writing full of longing, and I think the best (or maybe just my favorite, and so I am forcing that idea of better writing onto that section) part of the entire book.

I had forgotten about Mary and Judith. The whole of O Jerusalem is about that trip to Palestine for brother Mycroft. Every chapter is filled with that mysterious longing. It's beautifully written, some parts are very funny (the dinner party) and other parts are just amazing with these funky OCs blundering about and a scene with an Abbott that will AMAZE you.

Yeah, uh right. And THEN I'll send you Monstrous Regiment, for it is of an altogether different ilk.

I cannot wait! O Jerusalem really needs to hurry up and get here, because I want more of that beautiful writing.

(Also, now writing about the Judith paintings for my final art paper. I'd facepalm but I'm too happy about it.)

The world is conspiring to do... something.

I'm not sure what, but you can be certain that there's a conspiracy brewing.
