Hi! You don't know me, but I found the post before this one on a blogs search for 'dreamwidth' and thought I should comment; I hope this is okay. (I'm not DW staff or anything; I just like seeing posts about Dreamwidth!)
Firstly, as you've noticed, crossposting only works one-way - that is, you set up where you'd like to crosspost *to* in Dreamwidth, and then when you post at Dreamwidth your post is crossposted to LJ, etc. Unfortunately there's no easy way to do it the other way, so it'll probably always be one-way. Sorry about that!
Secondly, what problems did you have with OpenID? The reason I ask is that if there's a problem with the process, or it's not easy to do, we'd love to fix that. How did you go about doing it?
