A Few Things
May. 3rd, 2010 11:36 pm1. Bela's death is like, the worst thing ever. Excuse me? I don't care how rabid the fangirls are, a character as bad-ass as Bela Talbot deserves a better plotted death than a sudden, random deal with a demon. And the same demon holding Dean's contract - that just cheapens her death even more. Unacceptable.
2. In much more acceptable news, this means that I'm almost done with season 3! Tomorrow I'll get to watch 3.16 and move on to Season 4! I'm so freaking excited!!!!
3. Narnia/Robin Hood. I need it to happen. My friends and I watched (read: giggled maniacally over what a foxy fox Robin is) Disney's Robin Hood tonight, and omg Narnia is everywhere. Susan would be at that tournament chilling with Maid Marian, knowing that she could out-shoot even Robin if she wanted to, and seeing just how King/Prince John was setting his trap (Edmund might be there too, being all ninja-like).
And then Robin would come up to get his prize -
"Wow, Your Highness, meetin' you face to face is a real treat." As the disguised fox pumped the usurper's hand dramatically, Susan stifled a giggle. This Robin Hood was really so clever - that veiled insult in the use of the title was a gem, and one she might have to take for her own purposes. Surprisingly, John did not react at all to the failure to address his majesty, but then, the stunted lion was rather sure of his trap's success.
Three minutes later Robin was in chains and Marian was sobbing, and Susan really could not stand it at all. This crying intercession was not going to work, and only made the lady look weak. Susan slipped her hand beneath the folds of her gown to rest upon her dagger, and glanced around to find a bow that she might confiscate once matters inevitably devolved into battle.
4. In that vein - how on earth did Robin get the royal robe off of John in that opening heist? Also - crossdressing Little John, you complete me. And and and, the alliteration! Corpulent cleric, fat friar, procrastinating python....<3333 to the max.

Date: 2010-05-04 01:02 pm (UTC)2. I disliked season 4 to the point that I stopped watching the show. There were a few good episodes, but.... eh. I didn't feel like spending an hour every week watching really bad fanfiction getting passed off as a TV show.
3. That's utterly fantastic. Now all I can think of is in LWW, the clever little fox actually being Robin Hood... *sigh*.....
4. Because he's Just That Awesome, that's how.

Date: 2010-05-05 12:05 am (UTC)Season 4...well, I am adoring it times infinity so far. Castiel owns my heart and that is all I care about at the moment. Though I actually also like the storyline going on with demon-protected Sam and angel-watched Dean.
I ADORE crossovers, and it turns out that Disney crosses over with something at all times, be it Supernatural or Narnia or other random things.

Date: 2010-05-04 09:02 pm (UTC)Because Little John secretly works for the ninja-like Edmund, of course, and Peter's off being chummy with Richard (which is the real reason he was so late coming back from the Crusades...)
