EVE? HER NAME IS EVE? REALLY? WHAT IS THIS. Hm, okay, being calm. But wait, really, if they wanted a "Mother of All" name, did we have to go with EVE?
Also, sorry, random bothersome moment here - I know SPN went with the very traditional view of God as Father, but I'm a tad bit pissed that even though they haven't necessarily presented God as either good or bad, they've completely left out the very feminine, mothering qualities of the Abrahamic God, and now are coming down hard with the Mother as the evil one. What even is this?

I do like that Bobby gets to actually be shown hunting. Team Bobby, y'all!

thought: part of why Sam shot Samuel was because even though he did want to know about that year, he really didn't want to hear it from Samuel
HER. okay guys Rufus totally had a daughter (I suspect Show is actually going for wife, but) who hunted with him, and she died, and that's why he tried so hard to save Gwen.
HE WILL NEVER FORGIVE BOBBY, GUYS. NEVER.
HOLY SHIT SAMPA'S STILL ALIVE. (of course he is, because he is a man) okay, fine, I take that one back. He's dead.
Interestingly, Eve's little worm-thing killing Samuel relieves Dean and the show from the tension of whether he would or would not have killed Samuel. Would he have done it? They set it up as yes, and I think most of the show's fans would have been more than okay with it happening, but I think it's interesting that they felt the need to take that choice out of the equation.

I'd be so much happier with this episode if Bobby had died too. Then it'd be all the recurring characters in the ep, and it'd be much less 'white males survive' and much more 'only the regulars survive'. Much though I like Bobby.

IDK, I've noticed lately a ton of fan support for him, so I feel like they aren't going to go there anytime soon.
