It must be the apocalypse! . . . oh wait, that's the thing that just killed Jo and Ellen. That ripping sound you hear would be my heart.
In other news: Trickster = bomb. I'm not sure still if I like that he's Gabriel or not. On the one hand, it's really awesome. On the other, it rather undermines the power of the trickster and brings everything back to a biblical focus; I'd kind of liked the Trickster's presence for the whole added pantheon of lore. On the third hand, I do know that Loki and Kali will both be making appearances later, so maybe I can deal with this. And I really do like the angel-as-trickster thing - a sense of humor! And we got such emotion from him!
Speaking of emotion - Castiel, my love. "I think I'm starting to feel something." Hilaaarious! And did y'all see the way Jo was looking at him? If she'd maybe SURVIVED longer, well, I was seeing some real Cas/Jo/Dean tension going on there (the kiss! You can tell me he's big brotherly to her all you want, but, um, no). Hmmm much like Cas/Anna/Dean, no? Where IS Anna, btw? In my head she's also off searching for God.
Cas' powers aren't all there! Ack! Now, that did open the gate to his kickass manner of dealing with Meg - I found it very interesting that he sort of kind of seduced her to death; it's a very demonic thing to do, which says something I think about how much Cas is picking up as he watches watches watches. And Castiel interacting with Lucifer! That was awesome. Keep up the faith, Cas, I'm sure you're right! God isn't dead! Raphael doesn't know what he's talking about! Lucy's, well, I was going to say lame, but he's actually pretty fabulous - let's just say that Lucy's gonna get what's coming to him! Team free will!
What other episodes did I watch today? Hmm, I started out being bored by I Believe the Children are our Future, but then I ended up loving it. Jesse! So adorable, so angsty! Crowley's pretty amaaazing. With the Trickster episode, I LOVED the boys being thrown into all those shows. Chuck/Becky = love, and I even liked the Paris Hilton episode!
Alas, all that doesn't have much emotion behind it right now though, because I'm sort of irrevocably focused on how amazing Cas is, and the tears that are still flowing for Jo and Ellen.
