Summer Reading List
May. 17th, 2011 10:34 pmI'm putting together my list of books to read this summer, and here's what I have so far:
1. To Kill a Mockingbird
2. Wuthering Heights
3. 1984
4. Cien Años de Soledad
5. Brave New World
6. Love in the Time of Cholera
7. On the Road
8. Jude the Obscure
9. This Earth of Mankind
10.The Farseer Trilogy
11. more Terry Pratchett
12. The Mists of Avalon
13. The Summer Tree
14. The Crystal Cave
15. Age of Reason
I like it; the first 8 are from that BBC challenge list that circles around Facebook, and then the rest are fantasy books/series that I'm interested in. Then there are some others that I already have bought and so haven't bothered to list - my desert spirituality books, some new poetry, etc.
Recommendations would be grand - fifteen is not neaaaarly enough for a whole summer. I'm especially interested in travel literature, benchmark fantasy series, historical fiction, and basically anything.
