I can't even, this episode, oh my God, Castiel, and then Dean, and DEAN! oh poor baby Dean, and then Sam Sam Sam it was funny but it's really not because Sammy!, and Cas omg and then Anna and Castiel and Cas don't pull away from her, don't don't don't, and URIEL YOU ASS but you're still so bamf and then Castiel omg the way your eyes look when you're getting beat up! and then Anna teaching Cas about emotions and doubts and Anna Anna Anna rebelled but still has a purer faith than any of them!

This was such a brilliant episode - everything I've been looking for since Castiel joined the show - FINALLY an episode devoted to him, and OMG IT WAS SO GOOD.

P.S. The hand! The hand! These are some of Castiel's and Anna's best scenes and we loooooove. There is so much there and it's utter fabulosity.

I love that you're calling this an episode devoted to Castiel. I don't know if I'd go that far, though. It's more like every freaking amazing element of SPN coming together in one plotline. But it's not devoted to Cas because saying that takes away form poor Dean's suffering. Deaaaaaaaan!

Also, remember that this whole season was airing in the wake of Twilight's release and the height of vampire fever. SAM IS DRINKING DEMON BLOOD OMFG. You still on Team Ruby now?! Ruby. Like the color of BLOOD.

To this day I can watch Uriel and Castiel's fight scene over and over again.

I'm pretty sure there's something biblical there, about the drinking of demon's blood. Misha's amazing interviews are inspiring me to go read Revelation. Hottie is a smart one say what? I MUST go to a con, ask him a question, get a picture with him. It is a necessity.

I call it Cas-centric mainly just because for once he's in the majority of the show rather than just popping up enigmatically at the beginning and/or end. We liiiiiike the many minutes of Castiel-face.
